Eric F. Berkman, MDEric F. Berkman, MD attended undergraduate college at the University of Texas where he earned a B.A. in Biology/Psychology. He then earned his M.D. at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. After that, he completed a fully accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He then completed elective, additional subspecialty training, at the AO trauma/spinal instrumentation fellowship in Basel, Switzerland.
Dr. Berkman is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has active membership in the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
He is a published author and speaker in the field of orthopedic surgery.
